Tristan began running as part of his training for Taekwondo from 1998-2008. In his junior year of high school, he joined the track team as a way to spend more time with his friends and flourish his competitive spirit in a new outlet. It wasn’t until the spring of 2010 when Tristan realized track and field would be a viable option at the collegiate level. For five years, Tristan trained as a decathlete under the tutelage of Coach Eric Dudley. Coach Dudley trained Tristan with a biomechanical and efficient approach to athletics. It is this approach that Tristan continues to preach in his workouts with the Run Club at College Hill Crossfit. Through Run Club he hopes to inspire people to approach running with an optimistic attitude. With his training philosophy, passion for coaching, and love for running, Tristan is very excited to work with the CHC community in helping them attain any goals they have.
