CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Daniel began his athletic career at a young age playing baseball and basketball. He began weight training in middle school and immediately fell in love with it. This soon led him to powerlifting and he competed in the sport until he got to college. In 2014, he was introduced to CrossFit and was instantly hooked. While studying Kinesiology at UNCG, Daniel developed an interest in coaching and began coaching in April of 2017. He graduated from UNCG in 2018, and is currently applying to physical therapy school. Daniel is the coach for Hope Academy’s CrossFit program, a school servicing youth in the local Glenwood neighborhood and he is excited to teach adolescents about movement. He also wants to instill in them the values of teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. Daniel believes CrossFit provides the perfect platform to teach the youth about the importance of these values and their transferability to other areas of life.
