“As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.” – Seneca

A common saying is that life is short.
Yet, we recognize life is plenty long. If that is, we use it correctly.

We can also take this quote and pull two interpretations from it:

The first interpretation is to think of this as a push to overcome our procrastination habits. And that is absolutely a great consideration for us to take!

After some thought however, it’s second interpretation can be on a different spectrum. Instead of focusing on doing more, or accomplishing more… it’s a push to *appreciate* more. In a world where the norm is do more, more and more… it’s a step back. So that, we can appreciate the precious moments we have in front of us. So that we can focus on the quality of the most important things in our lives, as opposed to being caught up in the “gold rush”.

Simply put, the second interpretation is a call to action. To put first things, first.
